Ich kann dieses App nur zu 100% empfehlen. Da es auf englisch ist, ist es super für alle, die entweder der englischen Sprache bereits mächtig sind, oder auch für die jenigen, die spielerisch englisch lernen wollen. Viele, viele Kreuzworträtsel aus unterschiedlichen Themenbereichen- von Alice im Wunderland bis Zeitung.

Es sieht gut aus, die Eingabe ist sehr komfortabel - nur reichen meine Englischkenntnisse nicht aus :(

Too many repeats to the puzzles.

I love the Crossword Light app, and I use it every day.

This app used to be great, until they stopped supporting it. Go back in time two years and it gets five stars. Today all you can get is weird British puzzles (no offense to my London friends). This is no longer what I paid for. Searching for a new crossword app.

It stopped working some time ago on my 4th. Generation iPad. I recently upgraded to an iPad Pro so thought I’d give it another try. Didn’t work on initial startup so I deleted it and downloaded it again. Still doesn’t work. Just repeatedly gives me a message about having trouble restoring purchases.

Like others, my subscription is no longer being honored after this update. Once I finish the puzzles I have, I'll be looking for a new crossword app.

I paid $9.99 for a subscription on 6/10/16 - like others here, the latest update requires another purchase that's not going to happen. Emailed customer service and apparently fell into a black hole- no return communication at all. STAY AEAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

How disappointing...I bought this app for the daily puzzles. Stopped working and now I am expected to pay again. I'll buy another app before I spend my money on the same companies app!

I really enjoy this app for its interface on the crossword level. The controls are really intuitive. The subscribe issue is a little annoying, but hopefully it will be fixed soon. My son loves this app interface, but wishes that it was available in an Android format, because the interface is so natural.

... of disgruntled customers who had already paid up once for full access, and not only lost ongoing access to new versions, but also access to previously downloaded puzzles in this 'upgrade'. If intentional, unforgivable!!! Why should I purchase again? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, .... Update: issue NOT FIXED for me. I paid to upgrade, deleted the paid version when it stopped working in order to reinstall it, could not reinstall the paid version and have to pay to upgrade the lite version.

The latest update is a POS! The app will no longer load any new puzzles. Customer service, of course, blamed it on Apple. They told me to delete the app and reload. Now, I have no puzzles at all. It looks like the only way to download new puzzles is to subscribe. If that is the new business model, then just say so up front, do not lie to us. I was a subscriber for YEARS, but no longer. Boo!!!!!

It is a nice app to work with and use if you enjoy crosswords.

Even this newest update no longer recognizes my previous purchase of $9.99 for the daily puzzles. This was a great app, worthy of 5 stars, but these updates have nullified that rating. I've emailed support but no word as of yet.

Title says it all. They want an upgrade to see puzzles you have already purchased. Bad app update

Same problems as those already mentioned. I paid 9.99 but can't get new puzzles without paying again. Looking at other apps now.

Keeps assuming I never paid for full version. I did. Can no longer download latest puzzles. Repeated issue.

New version is asking me to pay $9.99 for new puzzles everyday, which I had already previously paid for some time ago. This makes a 5 star app a 1 now.

I've always loved crossword puzzles. I love this app because it allows me to play on the go!

This app is easy to use, free, and challenging. They got it right. Would give it 5 stars if I could get more puzzles than just the ones it comes with. But, for what it is, it's perfect.

I am a novice crossword user and I must have downloaded a dozen or so apps searching for one that was compatible with the iPad Smart Keyboard. Wish I had tried Crossword light sooner. Most of the crossword apps will not work in Landscape mode let alone with a keyboard. I am not sure why this is as I just assumed all of them would be compatible. I am still discovering keyboard shortcuts but the need to use the touch screen is minimal.

Good navigation. Wide selection of puzzles

I had a few issues with it crashing when I toggled, mid-puzzle, between the 'show error' and regular modes. Otherwise this is solid and reliable, very enjoyable. I will continue to use it over any of the other crossword apps I have.

I've enjoyed this app. The crosswords are not so hard that I spend hours on each. They take about an hour total. Great to just spend a few minutes as I have free time. Never had any issues.

Not too hard, yet challenging!

The puzzles are a great mix of contemporary culture and fun themes with just enough traditional puzzle clues to keep me interested.

Best free puzzle app!

App hasn't beeen updated in awhile. Crashes constantly. Don't bother :(

I am new to the app and so far I don't have any complaints. I like the app. I like the different levels (easy to difficult) to choose from.

Far too many of the hints are extremely misleading. And I am no noobie to crosswords.

Tricky

Was really enjoying these puzzles but the app doesn't work any longer. I can't open a puzzle without the app freezing. Deleted and reinstalled multiple times to no avail. Very disappointed as there is a lack of good, challenging crossword apps :(

Does what it says. Plenty of crossword puzzles with hints optional.

Love the choices of puzzle difficulties

I have played. Enough of a challenge to keep my interest but reasonable enough difficulty to figure it out. Think it is great.

Really like the app. Works fine on iPhone. I prefer a paper puzzle, but this is great when I'm out and have a few minutes to kill.

I'm not a great crossword puzzle solver, but these puzzles, I could finish using just a few helps. I'm hooked. Finished my first 37 in a short time. Ready for more.

It's hard to find a good free crossword app for the iPhone. This one appears to keep crashing. Unfortunate.

Terrific and challenging

Good puzzles

App started to crash within an hour of downloading (despite rebooting, etc). Also, the puzzles don't seem to have difficulty categories (e.g. easy, intermediate, hard)...and the two puzzles I worked on (before it started to crash) were definitively not beginner-friendly.

Works well, even offline.

Best crossword app out there

Recently, app freezes and won't open the list when in a crossword. Buggy.
